Abstract

L'entrepreneuriat féminin en France au XIXe siècle demeure largement sous-évalué Le projet INDUSTRIFEM éclaire la contribution femmes françaises en affaires au XIXe siècle à l'essor de l'industrialisation et d'évaluer la spécificité de l'entrepreneuriat féminin de cette époque. Il propose le réexamen de la place et du rôle exercé par les femmes dans le processus d'industrialisation français et participe ainsi d'un renouvellement de la vision du rôle économique joué par les femmes au XIXe siècle. Il vise en outre à éclairer et comprendre, grâce à un dialogue interdisciplinaire au carrefour de l'histoire, de l'économie, de la gestion et du droit, les conditions et modalités de l'exercice entrepreneurial féminin au XIXe siècle.
