Abstract

Les ONG font souvent la une de l'actualité avec des opérations médiatiques et visuelles (banderole en assemblée générale, communiqué de presse, incursion dans des sites sensibles…) à l'encontre de certaines entreprises. Néanmoins, ce n'est pas le seul mode d'action des ONG, dans le monde et en France. À l'heure d'un développement croissant de l'engagement actionnarial (pratique consistant à œuvrer, par le biais de plusieurs mécanismes, à l'adoption par les entreprises de comportements plus respectueux des critères ESG), et après avoir étudié des cas d'engagement actionnarial d'ONG dans les pays anglo-saxons, nous nous sommes interrogées sur cette pratique en France. Notre étude montre que l'engagement actionnarial pour les ONG s'apparent à un "dirty work" puis soutenues par une étude qualitative, nous avons établi le rôle des ONG françaises dans le paysage de l'engagement actionnarial.
