Abstract

Cet article explicite un phénomène émergent et en croissance, la re-spatialisation du travail en espaces de coworking, à travers le prisme de l'identité au travail. Plus précisément, notre recherche questionne les processus de construction de l'identité au travail des salariés qui télétravaillent en espace de coworking. Nous nous inscrivons dans la perspective des travaux sur le travail identitaire et sur l'espace organisationnel. Nos résultats sont issus d'une démarche ethnographique menée au sein de deux réseaux d'espaces de coworking, associée à un dispositif spécifique d'entretiens avec des salariés-coworkers. Nous avons adopté une métaphore théâtrale qui nous a permis de préciser les caractéristiques de l'espace scénique qu'est l'espace de coworking, et d'identifier quatre formes distinctes de travail identitaire re-spatialisé : la récitation, l'interprétation contrainte, l'improvisation, et l'interprétation critique. Cette recherche contribue à la littérature sur le travail identitaire et à celle sur les espaces de coworking.
