Abstract

Commons are also a narrative issue, something collectively told and shared. In this discussion paper, we critically examine our use of a collaborative technique called Framapad. As an open community, RGCS has used hundreds of pads to co-document its events and practices. !is practice, both when successful and unsuccessful, has been key in the constitution of our own commons. Here, we analyze the process, contributions and limitations of pads in the life of our community.
