Abstract

From Bilbao to Barcelona, via Venice and the Pinault Foundation, not forgetting the Getty Center in Los Angeles, we take world-famous case studies for cauterizing the lasting effects of the ephemeral and we apply it to the commune of Sérignan. locally in France. Art, land-art and tourism strategy are analyzed to show that for local communities and the actors of globalization, economy, culture and urbanism are one.
