Abstract

Le recours aux objets connectés de quantified self est une piste envisageable pour favoriser l'atteinte des objectifs sélectionnés par les consommateurs seniors dans une logique d'anticipation et de bien vieillir désiré. L'objectif de ce papier est de présenter les premiers résultats d'une étude qualitative en cours qui vise à comprendre la manière dont les consommateurs seniors s'approprient les objets connectés de QS et à explorer le lien entre ces dispositifs et la conception du bien vieillir désiré. Une analyse des premiers entretiens menés a permis d'identifier quatre figures d'usage et de pratiques à savoir 1/ la connaissance de soi, l'auto-suivi et l'atteinte des objectifs, 2/ le partage, la participation et la mise en comparaison avec autrui, 3/ la recherche d'une gratification hédoniste et enfin 4/ l'abandon et la distanciation entre les objets connectés et les comportements. Ces logiques d'usage et de pratiques sont influencées par des facteurs facilitateurs/ inhibiteurs d'usage.
