Abstract

Cet article pose la question de la démocratie participative et en décrit un instrument possible, la mesure du bien-être subjectif des citoyens à travers des enquêtes ciblées. Ces dernières peuvent être menées sur des territoires comme une métropole, pour révéler les facteurs de bien-être des habitants. Les réflexions théoriques associées à une telle démarche concernent la conception plus ou moins hédonique du bien-être, par opposition avec la conception tutélaire des politiques classiques de la démocratie représentative.
