Abstract

Le petit commerce est le premier générateur des flux de marchandises qui circulent dans la ville, que ce soit pour son approvisionnement, mais aussi par les flux qu'il occasionne en sortie de caisse, soit par les ménages eux-mêmes, soit par le développement de services de livraison. Outre la quantification, l'objet de ce papier est de montrer à quel point ce secteur est divers : qu'il s'agisse des fréquences, des organisations logistiques ou des véhicules utilisés, les enquêtes « Transport de marchandises en ville » (ETMV) font état d'une grande variété de pratiques d'approvisionnement selon le type de commerce concerné.
