Abstract

Une dizaine d'années avant la Peste Noire qui devait ravager l'Europe en 1348, le peintre siennois Ambrogio Lorenzetti décora la salle du Conseil du Palais Public de Sienne de fresques illustrant le bon et le mauvais gouvernement. C'est l'Allegoria ed effetti del Cattivo Governo, l'Allégorie des effets d'un mauvais gouvernement, qui illustre la trente-quatrième édition du Rapport CyclOpe sur les marchés mondiaux. C'est qu'avant même la pandémie du coronavirus, l'heure était au grand désordre du monde, aux tensions géopolitiques, aux guerres commerciales, à la remise en cause des traités internationaux. Mais l'extension du coronavirus à la planète entière a provoqué une crise économique sans équivalent depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale dont les marchés ont été le fidèle reflet. Arrêté à la fin avril 2020, CyclOpe présente une première analyse de ces quatre mois de pandémie et de crise et dresse quelques perspectives pour l'économie et les marchés mondiaux.
