Abstract

This article studies the exposure to occupational risks in subcontracted work, the practices of companies and employee representatives resources in terms of prevention. The study draws on two levels of analysis, a case study of both principal and subcontractor in the aeronautic sector and a statistical analysis based on the 2016 CT-RPS (DARES) survey. It shows that occupational risks are outsourced by the principals to subcontractors without an active prevention policy. In this context of collective fragmentation, the capacities for action and the resources of employee representatives within the CHSCT are weakened.
