CSR and digital transformation of craft companies: a study on survey data

Abstract

Les études sur la responsabilité sociétale des entreprises (RSE) dans les entreprises artisanales sont rares. Les travaux existants insistent sur les freins et les retards des très petites entreprises en matière de RSE : manque d'intérêt, de compétences, de temps ou de ressources financières, etc. Notre article prolonge ces travaux en s'intéressant aux liens entre les compétences et usages numériques des entreprises artisanales d'une part et leurs pratiques RSE d'autre part. Nous exploitons une enquête réalisée par l'observatoire M@rsouin auprès de 1 019 entreprises artisanales en Bretagne, dans les secteurs du bâtiment, de la production, de l'alimentation et des services. Nos résultats montrent que les entreprises artisanales les plus avancées en termes de compétences et d'outils numériques sont aussi celles qui ont le plus de pratiques responsables (sur le plan environnemental et social). À l'inverse, les entreprises éloignées du numérique sont moins engagées dans des pratiques RSE.
