Abstract

Du fait de l'épidémie du coronavirus et des mesures de confinement prises dans de nombreux pays, l'activité économique mondiale a fortement reculé au cours du premier semestre 2020. Les prémices d'une récession inédite entrevues à partir du mois de mars ont été confirmées par les chiffres de croissance publiés pour le deuxième trimestre. Dépendante à la fois de l'intensité des mesures prophylactiques qui ont été mises en œuvre, mais aussi de la structure sectorielle de la production et enfin des réponses budgétaires apportées, la chute d'activité enregistrée au cours du premier semestre 2020 dans les différents pays est très hétérogène.
