Abstract

In addition to technical skills, higher education institutions are now tasked with providing a wide audience with psycho-behavioral skills, known as soft skills. Despite the recent multitude of educational programs, there is still little known about their potential to build these highly sought-after skills in participants. This article therefore seeks to answer the question: which soft skills do students build during their participation in an experiential entrepreneurship awareness program? Informed by experiential learning theory, a survey combining qualitative and quantitative data was conducted with 170 participants involved in such a program. The results obtained demonstrate that interpersonal aspects of soft skills are particularly developed. Conclusions will then be drawn regarding the positioning and facilitation of this type of program.
