Abstract

Our research questions the relevance of differentiated entrepreneurial support for mumpreneurs. We use an in-depth case study approach and study the only active French association to bring women claiming to be both entrepreneurs and mothers together. Our contribution emphasises the structure and function of the association. The results show that differentiated entrepreneurial support has emerged due to a lack of appropriate structures and answers to the needs and expectations of the mumpreneurs. Situated within their own support structure, mumpreneurs find support, proximity and professionalism in connection with both entrepreneurial and family aspirations.
