Abstract

"Portage salarial" is a status that questions the new forms of employment. This article proposes to clarify its positioning by highlighting and analyzing the different possible trajectories within this legal status. Longitudinal analysis of a sample of more than 4 800 individuals identifies five different trajectories and shows that "portage salarial" is a legal status between new forms of employment, wage-earning and classical entrepreneurship.
