Abstract

Om undran som metod och metodologi inom företagsekonomin. Sociologen Johan Asplund hade en undrande attityd inför livet och dess många skiftande uttrycksformer. Denna undran utmärktes av ett sökande efter förståelse istället för förklaring. Asplund ville begripliggöra världen genom att vrida och vända på den så att andra aspekter av verkligheten framträdde än det som tas för givet i vardagen och i sin klassiska bok Om undran inför samhället från 1970 lanserade han det aspektseende som kom att bli vägledande – som metod och metodologi – för många företagsekonomer under de decennier som följde. Men hur står det till med den undrande attityden och aspektseendet inom företagsekonomin idag, femtio år efter utgivningen av Asplunds klassiker? På sessionen utforskar vi Johan Asplunds aspektseende mot en företagsekonomisk fond och ger exempel på en alltjämt livskraftig (om än alltmer bortglömd?) metodtradition. Deltagarna på seminariet har alla medverkat i den nyligen utgivna antologin Om undran inför företagsekonomin (Santérus, 2020).
