L’Économie contemporaine en dix questions-clés

Abstract

Cet ouvrage est destiné à un public désireux de mieux comprendre la marche de l'économie contemporaine : aux lycéens, aux étudiants et à toute personne curieuse du fonctionnement du monde dans lequel nous vivons. Il se décline en dix questions d'économie générale. Chacune d'elles a pour objectif d'éclairer le contexte de cette question, les stratégies des acteurs en présence, et les différentes visions du fonctionnement de l'économie mondiale qui s'affrontent. Il essaye de montrer comment inscrire celle-ci dans la voie d'un développement plus durable. Les dix questions abordées sont : 1 – Les économistes prônent-ils tous le libéralisme économique ? 2 – Intervention de l'État : jusqu'où ? 3 – Quel avenir pour l'Europe dans la mondialisation économique ? 4 – La France s'achemine-t-elle vers un renouveau industriel ? 5 – Comment ancrer les emplois sur le territoire ? 6 – Peut-on prévenir une crise économique ? 7 – Qui sont les habitants du "village-monde" ? 8 – Comment rendre nos modèles de développement durables ? 9 – La thèse de la décroissance a-t-elle un sens ? 10 – L'entreprise peut-elle être plus humaine ? Quant à la forme, chaque question est traitée synthétiquement et sur un mode de rédaction vivant, pédagogique et illustré. Trois modes de lecture sont possibles, avec notamment une lecture rapide à partir des nombreuses photos, données statistiques et cartes géographiques et leur commentaire.
