Abstract

L'organisation des événements sportifs de nature répond à de multiples contraintes juridiques. Cette recherche apporte un éclairage sur la façon dont les acteurs se saisissent, sur le terrain, de ce cadre complexe. La méthodologie utilisée est qualitative et porte sur un échantillon de vingt événements. Les résultats montrent que les modes d'appropriation des règles et les formes de régulation varient principalement selon quatre aspects : la nature des structures organisatrices et des événements concernés ; les types de règles en jeu ; les logiques managériales et organisationnelles à l'œuvre ; les phases de mise en œuvre des événements. Le manque de coordination et d'articulation exacerbe les formes d'ineffectivité, dont certaines portent atteinte à la sécurisation des personnes et sont susceptibles d'engager des responsabilités souvent mal cernées par les parties prenantes.
