Abstract

Restoring economic growth in Europe using only monetary policy, even of the unconventional variety, appears more and more insufficient and in desperate need of a second or third leg. In a much debated speech at Jackson's Hole this summer, Mario Draghi recalled this difficult context in the fight against the risk of stagnation. (First paragraph)
