Les mouvements sociaux à l’épreuve de la crise pandémique : mêmes problèmes et nouvelles organisations ?

Abstract

Les mouvements sociaux ont été profondément touchés par les mesures de confinement sans précédent qui ont exhorté des millions de citoyens à rester chez eux. Pourtant et loin de disparaître, les mouvements sociaux tout en s'adaptant à des circonstances inattendues ont radicalisé leurs revendications et ont été particulièrement actifs et innovateurs pendant cette période difficile. Si la nature et l'ampleur des mouvements sociaux répondant à une crise pandémique globale ont été largement déterminées par les contextes nationaux, il n'en demeure pas moins qu'ils ont tous rempli des rôles relativement similaires. Partout, ils ont dénoncé le poids des inégalités structurelles face à la pandémie, ont œuvré pour mettre en place des réseaux de solidarité et de suivi des politiques nationales et ont été aussi un relais d'information via des campagnes d'éducation populaire. Dans cet article, je reviendrai sur la manière dont les mouvements sociaux ont été influencés par la crise pandémique et je focaliserai plus particulièrement sur les enjeux organisationnels auxquels ils ont dû faire face.
