Abstract

Cette communication propose d'analyser la position de la France face à l'introduction du véhicule autonome dans le système de transport, et d'identifier les dimensions en termes de sécurité routière dans lesquelles il s'inscrit. Ce travail repose sur une recherche documentaire et une approche discursive. Nous avons consulté un grand nombre de documents de nature institutionnelle, juridique, législative, scientifique. La communication s'appuiera sur les données obtenues dans le cadre de 1 année d'observation participante de réunions de groupe de travail, et d'atelier scientifiques, ainsi que sur des entretiens semi-directifs réalisés avec un échantillon représentatif des parties prenantes de la politique publique de sécurité routière en France. Cette approche discursive a permis à la fois de confirmer les premiers éléments d'interprétation issus de la recherche documentaire, mais aussi d'apporter des compléments utiles pour mener notre analyse.
