Abstract

Des études récentes dans la littérature appellent à étudier l'application des technologies numériques dans des modèles d'agriculture durable tels que l'agroécologie. En outre, la littérature montre une divergence sur la pertinence et la compatibilité de la mise en œuvre des technologies numériques dans les modèles agroécologiques. Nous avons cherché à contribuer à ce débat par une analyse documentaire, en prenant l'Internet des objets (IoT, internet of Things) comme exemple pour évaluer son potentiel dans le cadre d'un modèle agroécologique. Les résultats montrent que ce type de technologie peut soutenir 7 des 13 piliers qui composent un modèle agroécologique, avec un grand soutien notamment pour la réduction des intrants. Toutefois, des recherches supplémentaires sont nécessaires pour compléter l'analyse du soutien de l'IoT pour d'autres critères tels que la santé animale, la synergie, la diversification économique, les valeurs sociales et la justice
