Abstract

Pour apprendre de nouvelles manières de faire face aux grandes plaies comme celles de la gestion des déchets, notre pari est d'apprendre auprès et avec des communautés pauvres du Grand Sud. Nous relatons une expérience participative de gestion des déchets dans une ville bolivienne, qui en quelques semaines a impliqué la plus grande partie de la communauté. L'inspiration théorique est celle de l'entrepreneuriat communautaire de Peredo et le concept d'individuation de Simondon. Plutôt que l'implémentation d'un modèle prédéfini, le projet s'est constitué participativement et s'est individué à partir des capacités propres de la communauté. Le projet s'est étendu de la gestion des déchets à d'autres dynamiques communautaires constitutives et à un supplément de respect. Cette expérience nous semble proposer un autre mode d'intervention dans les communautés pauvres et inspire la proposition d'une « roue de l'engagement communautaire ».
