Abstract

Le système éducatif français est souvent critiqué pour son coût élevé et son faible rendement. Les données de comparaison internationale montrent qu'effectivement la France est l'un des pays qui dépense relativement le plus pour son éducation, mais ceci tient à des taux d'accès élevés, de la maternelle jusqu'au supérieur. L'enseignement supérieur universitaire reste peu coûteux, comparé aux autres pays. Les enseignants français n'apparaissent pas plus payés que leurs homologues étrangers.
