Abstract

Pour relever le triple défi écologique, économique et social de la ville de demain, l'urbaniste Carlos Moreno prône le concept de « ville du quart d'heure », dont il est le créateur : pour lui, les 6 fonctions sociales urbaines essentielles ‒ habiter, travailler, s'approvisionner, se soigner, s'éduquer, s'épanouir ‒, qui nous interrogent sur notre rapport entre espaces de vie et temps utile, ne doivent pas être accessibles en plus de 15 minutes. L'auteur propose ici un décryptage systémique de la ville, évaluant les moyens et les champs d'action du bien-vivre face aux menaces de plus en plus présentes.
