Abstract

Les organisations sont au centre de nos vies, au coeur de nos sociétés. À l'heure où nous vivons des crises sanitaires et écologiques historiques, il est plus important que jamais de comprendre ce qui se cache derrière le management et ses pratiques. C'est ce à quoi nous convie cet ouvrage, écrit par deux chercheurs en sciences de gestion. À partir de la notion de dispositifs de gestion, ce livre vous amènera à découvrir : les idéologies et pensées sous-jacentes lors d'une réunion de direction, la force du langage et du parler gestionnaire derrière un discours de voeux, le pouvoir induit et ce que font faire des instruments et outils de gestion, ou bien encore l'importance de la spatialité (lieux et territoires) dans les relations et interactions sociales. Pour accompagner leur propos, Patrick Gilbert et Nathalie Raulet-Croset s'appuient pour chaque chapitre sur la description de situations de gestion et proposent des images qui sont autant de cartes que le lecteur pourra mobiliser pour mémoriser ou développer sa compréhension. En s'appuyant sur les plus récentes théories des sciences de gestion, de l'organisation et du management, nul doute que ce livre deviendra rapidement un classique de la discipline et vous amènera définitivement à voir et « lire le management autrement » !
