Les mobilités en début de vie professionnelle

Abstract

Même lorsqu'ils sont a priori stabilisés dans l'emploi, les jeunes sont en début de parcours professionnel plus mobiles que l'ensemble des actifs. Près d'un tiers change d'entreprise au cours de leur quatrième ou cinquième année de vie active. Par ailleurs, un quart effectue une mobilité interne, c'est-à-dire change d'activité, de profession ou voie leur rémunération augmenter tout en demeurant chez le même employeur. Interne ou externe, ces deux types de mobilité ne constituent pas pour les jeunes des stratégies alternatives dans le cheminement de carrière. En début de vie professionnelle, elles concernent en effet des publics différents. De plus, alors que les jeunes en mobilité interne connaissent les conditions salariales les plus favorables cinq ans après avoir quitté le système éducatif, la mobilité externe exprime davantage des stratégies de correction de mauvaises insertions.
