Abstract

La crise sanitaire de 2020 et le confinement qui en a découlé, a engendré un élan des français vers les circuits courts de proximité. S'agit-il d'une tendance profonde ou d'une simple parenthèse dans les achats alimentaires ? Quelle est la proportion d'individus concernés ? Dans le détail, quelles sont les raisons ayant amené certains foyers vers l'achat auprès des producteurs locaux ? Ces questions sont au coeur de ce travail et amènent à approfondir les liens de proximité recherchés à travers ces comportements. Les résultats se basent sur une étude longitudinale menée en mars et juin 2020, auprès d'un échantillon de 552 répondants. Ils permettent d'identifier huit motifs de recours au circuit courts de proximité et mettent en évidence que seul 40% des individus ont réellement augmenté leur niveau d'achat local. Au final, c'est l'expérimentation et l'adoption d'une autre forme d'alimentation qui ont mené à une hausse pérenne de l'achat local.
