Abstract

Au sein des villes on assiste à une reterritorialisation de l'agriculture : création, d'une part, de véritables fermes urbaines portées par des entrepreneurs nouvelle génération dont la viabilité est sans cesse questionnée et, d'autre part, des jardins collectifs (l'Ile-de-France, en 2020, comptait plus de 1303 jardins). Les fermes urbaines professionnelles sont aussi en croissance. En 2019, plus de 150 organisations entrepreneuriales sont identifiées produisant des légumes ou élevant de petits animaux. Les techniques agricoles utilisées se veulent agro-écologiques qu'elles soient low-tech (permaculture) soit high-tech (fermes verticales en indoor). Ces formes entrepreneuriales aussi dénommées fermes urbaines ou microfermes professionnelles, sont porteuses d'innovations et de valeurs tant sociales, qu'économiques ou environnementales.
