Abstract

New Delhi is still opposed to a NWFZ and recommend a general and complete global disarmament. Pakistan rejected India's offer of a nuclear no-first-use agreement, but it proposed not to deploy nuclear if India reciprocates. France and UK was not clearly in favour of sanctions against India and Pakistan for their nuclear tests, but the majority of the European countries condemned the nuclear program of India. However, France favours the NWFZ (South Asian Nuclear Weapons Free Zone) and express interest in peaceful nuclear collaboration with India.
