L'interaction compétitive : un cadre conceptuel pour l'étude de la dynamique des canaux de distribution

Abstract

Fondé sur l'unité action-réaction, le modèle d'analyse des stratégies compétitives présenté dans cet article permet de saisir les comportements des firmes dans leurs aspects interactifs et évolutifs. Son application à l'étude des canaux de distribution vient étayer les développements les plus récents de la recherche sur ce thème. Par son ancrage théorique, ce modèle répond à la nécessaire prise en compte des stratégies d'acteurs pour l'analyse des canaux comme systèmes dynamiques. Parallèlement, certains des concepts mobilisés s'inscrivent dans la logique d'une réflexion déjà ancienne. Enfin, l'attention accordée aux réactions et à leurs caractéristiques porte un éclairage fécond sur un aspect délaissé mais crucial des phénomènes conduisant à la mutation des canaux, notamment dans le cadre de la nouvelle configuration du marché que constitue l'oligopole bilatéral.
