Abstract

Chapitre 6 - MédecinDirect est un pionnier du téléconseil et de la téléconsultation médicale. L'entreprise a développé un business model original, utilisant les complémentaires santé comme porte d'entrée. Elle a aussi progressivement enrichi son business model grâce au développement de propositions de valeur complémentaires. Ce cas illustre les avantages – et inconvénients – d'une approche en B2B2C pour développer un service en e-santé sur un marché où la propension à payer des utilisateurs finaux est faible. Il montre aussi le rôle déterminant des pouvoirs publics, à travers les conditions d'autorisation et de remboursement, dans la diffusion d'un service innovant d'e-santé et dans la dynamique du jeu concurrentiel.
