Abstract

Le premier objectif de cet article est de presenter deux approches de la mesure du progres technique et par suite de la productivite totale : l'approche non parametrique residuelle et l'approche parametrique fondee sur l'estimation econometrique de la fonction de production ou, de maniere duale, des fonctions de comportement: cout, revenu ou profit. L'application a l'agriculture francaise de ces deux approches constitue l'objet empirique de cette etude: certaines caracteristiques de la technologie sont analysees (taux de croissance du progres technique sur differentes periodes, evaluation des biais technologiques, contribution du progres technique a la croissance,...)
