L'ajustement de l'offre à la demande : quelques éléments à verser au dossier de l'emploi

Abstract

L'objet de cet article est de mettre en évidence les conséquences sur l'emploi de l'adaptation des entreprises à un environnement incertain. Aussi, après avoir rappelé brièvement les éléments de base du modèle utilisé, analyserons-nous, à partir d'un cas concret, les conditions auxquelles doivent satisfaire les structures de production pour que l'offre s'ajuste aux fluctuations de la demande. Dans une deuxième partie, nous étudierons les conséquences d'une inadéquation des structures aux flux qui les traversent sur l'emploi.
