Abstract

La note résume quelques idées concernant la recherche sur le développement rural et les politiques destinées à le promouvoir. Elle aborde successivement plusieurs volets de ces questions : des aspects conceptuels, tenant à la façon de définir le développement rural, à la conception et à la mise en oeuvre d'une politique efficace ; une analyse des ressources humaines et naturelles à utiliser dans ce but ; l'évaluation des effets des politiques et une réflexion sur la place de l'espace rural dans la société urbanisée.
