Abstract

Ce texte analyse la diversite des evolutions du secteur agricole dans le developpement economique des regions meridionales de la CEE et des pays mediterraneens associes a la CEE. La situation d'excedents pour certains produits, la concurrence accrue a l'interieur de la CEE elargie et sur les marches internationaux, l'importance des deficits alimentaires au sud de la Mediterranee entrainent dans les annees 80 des reorientations des politiques communautaires. La nature des problemes a resoudre incite a la recherche de solutions integrees dont la mise en oeuvre se heurte aux limites des outils communautaires et au caractere conflictuel des choix sociaux et politiques en jeu.
