Abstract

En agriculture, le travail est mal délimité spatialement et temporellement. Son apparence est d'abord son enchevêtrement avec d'autres temps : domestiques, libres, personnels... Pourtant, c'est justement cet ensemble, ses complémentarités et ses cohérences, qui présente un intérêt original. Le temps, s'il n'est pas contraint, a des affectations multiples. Les agricultrices par exemple, en travaillant dans la sphère domestique de l'exploitation, exercent bien souvent des activités qui relèvent de la sphère professionnelle. Pour le moins, elles assurent "une astreinte". Alors, les liaisons et les cohérences entre ces activités, et les potentialités qu'elles induisent en terme de productivité, posent problème pour comptabiliser le temps de travail des agriculteurs.
