Abstract

La production laitière et son évolution sous quota sont ici appréhendées régionalement. La remise en cause de l'homogénéité spatiale de la production est testée par le recours à des fonctions de production, outils de l'analyse micro-économique, estimées au niveau régional. L'application empirique est réalisée sur un échantillon extrait du RICA, à l'aide de méthodes statistiques et économétriques simples. Les facteurs de différenciation de la production entre les régions et à l'intérieur de chaque région sont ainsi précisés pour les années 1984 et 1988. Le rapprochement des résultats permet de tirer certains enseignements en terme d'évolution des systèmes de production par région.
