Abstract

Voici déjà quelques décennies que les modèles d'équilibre général sont utilisés comme des arguments en faveur de la libéralisation dans les instances internationales qui discutent du commerce, en particulier le commerce des denrées alimentaires. On peut cependant se demander si les conclusions tirées de l'usage de ces instruments sont aussi solides qu'on le croit, en particulier quand ils ignorent toute considération de risque, et quand leur dynamique reste sommaire. L'article essaie de définir les spécifications de modèles alternatifs, qui conserveraient les avantages reconnus de l'approche en équilibre général, sans cependant traiter de façon aussi naïve la dynamique et le risque.
