Abstract

Cet article compare une stratégie de baisse des rendements avec celle de la jachère tournante pour atteindre une même réduction quantitative des productions céréalières et d'oléo-protéagineux. La concavité nettement plus prononcée des fonctions de production réelles à l'égard de la variable (agrégée) intrants qu'à l'égard de la variable terre, indique que la première voie serait nettement plus économique en intrants et en charges opérationnelles. Quant aux autres charges susceptibles de varier, en particulier le travail, cette première voie serait neutre.
