Abstract

La lecture des communications de ce numéro consacré "aux cinquante premières années de la SFER" souligne de multiples renouvellements dont les plus évidents concernent sans doute la diversification des thèmes abordés. Longtemps principalement consacrés à l'économie (et parfois à la sociologie) de la production agricole, les objets d'étude se sont progressivement diversifiés vers le secteur agroalimentaire, l'aménagement du territoire, les relations internationales, l'environnement... Cette diversification thématique procède de la modification de la division du travail et de la multiplication des échanges ; ces dernières ont fait naître de nouveaux acteurs et ont renouvelé les modalités de leur coordination tout en élargissant les espaces de concurrence. Elle procède aussi de l'émergence de nouvelles attentes de la société à l'égard de l'agriculture et de l'espace rural.
