Abstract

Dans l'article, les auteurs décrivent dans un premier temps les résultats empiriques sur l'activité et le chômage des travailleurs à l'approche de la retraite en résumant les études publiées dans la littérature économique internationale. Ils s'intéressent ensuite à l'analyse économique des comportements de départ à la retraite et exposons les principaux modèles d'offre de travail qui ont été utilisés. Ils passent enfin en revue les travaux portant sur l'analyse des relations entre productivité et salaire ainsi que les modèles explicatifs des comportements des entreprises vis-à-vis des travailleurs âgés. En conclusion, des directions de recherche pour combler les lacunes de la littérature sont proposées.
