Abstract

L'apparition des organismes génétiquement modifiés (OGM) et leur diffusion posent de nombreuses questions très controversées autour de l'information du public et de celle des consommateurs, du comportement d'achat et des opinions citoyennes, du choix démocratique et de la liberté d'achat. Quels sont les instruments d'analyse et les connaissances scientifiques dont on dispose en la matière ? Des éléments de réponse issus de recherches les plus récentes en sciences sociales sont apportés. Ils sont issus d'interventions réalisées lors d'une journée de réflexion organisée, début 2001, par le "Club OGM" de l'INRA.
