Abstract

Il existe dans la littérature économique une façon de prendre en compte des relations et des logiques non marchandes par le biais de concepts tels que celui d'externalité ou par l'extension de la catégorie de capital. A partir de travaux récents sur l'agriculture et l'environnement, les auteurs souhaitent montrer qu'il peut exister une autre méthode. Celle-ci consiste à reconnaître le patrimoine comme irréductible à du capital. La reconnaissance en tant que patrimoine vise à organiser les relations économiques de telle façon que le groupe social concerné organise sa perpétuation dans l'espace et dans le temps.
