Abstract

Les résultats d'une étude sur les déterminants de l'adoption des standards génériques HACCP et ISO 9000 pour la gestion de la qualité produit dans les stations fruitières du sud de la France sont présentés et discutés. Pour expliquer la diversité des trajectoires d'adoption et situer la place des standards génériques dans les démarches stratégiques de la firme, les auteurs ont mobilisé une approche Portérienne en terme de positionnement concurrentiel sur le marché et testé les données collectées par enquête sur un échantillon représentatif d'une trentaine de stations. Le taux d'exportation, la concentration de la clientèle et le nombre de sites gérés par la firme apparaissent comme les variables qui expliquent le plus la propension à adopter les standards génériques.
