Abstract

L'auteur tente de faire le point sur ce que pourrait être une intervention optimale de l'Etat dans les marchés agricoles. Pour cela, il redéfinit tout d'abord les notions de "quotas" et de "marchés à terme" et montre que ces deux méthodes de gestion des marchés agricoles sont beaucoup plus proches qu'on ne le laisse entendre en général. Il montre également que l'intervention de l'Etat dans les marchés agricoles est souhaitable et peut se faire dans une économie de marché.
