Abstract

Les recherches sur la gestion des connaissances (ou knowledge management en termes anglo-saxons) et sur le capital social ont creusé leur sillon séparément dans la littérature en management stratégique. Si cette littérature reconnaît des attributs communs aux deux concepts, rares sont les travaux qui ont abordé la question de leurs relations et de leur articulation. Il s'agit de l'objectif poursuivi dans cet article. Pour ce faire, nous considérons que la mise en relations entre knowledge management (KM) et capital social (CS) correspond à l'introduction d'une innovation managériale dans une organisation. Ceci implique de justifier l'association entre KM et innovation managériale ainsi que l'utilisation du concept de capital social pour caractériser une organisation. En mobilisant un cadre contextualiste et processuel nous dégageons un schème conceptuel afin de rendre compte du processus de co-transformation qui s'engage entre KM et CS.
