Le Japon opportunité de marché ou défi stratégique pour la filière porcine française

Abstract

Par arrêté ministériel paru au Journal Officiel japonais le 20 juillet 1993, les autorités japonaises ont classé la France dans la catégorie des pays exempts de fièvre aphteuse. Cette décision, aboutissement des efforts de l'administration et des professionnels français, ouvre la voie aux exportations françaises de viande porcin"e et réfrigérée pour les établissements qui satisfont aux exigences stipulées dans l'accord vétérinaire conclu entre la France et le Japon. La Direction Générale de l'Alimentation a établi dès la fin du mois de juillet une première liste d'outils industriels agréés pour l'exportation vers le Japon. Elle contient les sociétés suivantes : Ets Bernard à Locminé, Ets Bigard à Quimperlé, Ets Brevial à Briec-sur-Odet, Cooperl à Lamballe, Ets Jeffroy à Châteauneuf-du-Faou, Ets Gad à Lampaul-Guimiliau, Olympig à Josselin et Socopa à Evron. Le Grand Ouest peut maintenant exporter vers le Japon. Toutes les conditions nécessaires sont remplies. Sont-elles suffisantes pour développer un courant d'exportation bénéfique à la filière porc française ?
