Abstract

La restructuration de l'agriculture dans les pays d'Europe Centrale entraîne l'apparition de nouveaux besoins en formation de cadres, aussi bien formation initiale que continue. Ces ingénieurs et techniciens devront pouvoir accompagner la constitution d'unités nouvelles, les encadrer, organiser les producteurs et contribuer à la transformation/distribution des produits. Dans ce contexte, l'appareil universitaire existant dispose d'un potentiel important, en capacité d'accueil et en formateurs. Les principaux problèmes sont la reconversion vers des formations adaptées aux nouveaux objectifs,l'ouverture sur le monde professionnel, la faiblesse des moyens financiers et l'absence d'un projet de société concernant l'avenir du système universitaire.
