Abstract

Dans le milieu des années quatre vingt, l'agriculture a soudainement redécouvert les vertus de la diversification, après des décennies de spécialisation de plus en plus poussée. Ce mouvement accompagnait celui de l'intensification de l'usage de la terre, le tout étant quelquefois appelé productivisme. Cet intérêt avait pour motif premier la limitation quantitative de la production, qui s'est manifestée d'abord par des mesures autoritaires sur le droit à produire (les quotas laitiers) puis par le biais des prix (quantités maximales garanties)
